Ride Quality
No other full-size truck compares to the new RAM 1500 when it comes to ride quality. A sophisticated coil-spring rear suspension enables the RAM 1500 to glide gently over bumps, dips, and potholes that would jostle other trucks. Pickups like the Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado 1500, and GMC Sierra 1500 use leaf-spring suspensions that don't absorb the impact of rough pavement as well as the RAM 1500's coil-spring setup.
Interior
RAM trucks are known for having some of the finest interiors on the market, with seat comfort and cabin materials that outclass other trucks. Whether you choose a RAM 1500, 2500, or 3500, they all have spacious cabs with well-arranged dashboards. Higher trims have premium leather surfaces and genuine wood accents. RAM 2500 Longhorn models have striped wood and gold trim on the dash, doors, and gauges. Competing pickups such as the Ford F-250, Chevy Silverado 2500, and GMC Sierra 2500 have spartan cabins in the lower trims and better accommodations in the top-tier models. However, they don't quite reach the opulence of the top-of-the-line RAM truck trims.
Technology
All RAM trucks are available with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has high-definition graphics and can store up to five user profiles. Support for Apple Carplay and Android Auto are also available. RAM 3500 Limited trims have blind-spot warning with trailer coverage, which warns you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change. Other trucks like the Ford F-350, Chevy Silverado 3500, and GMC Sierra 3500 also offer convenient amenities, but they can't compete with RAM's ultramodern Uconnect infotainment system.
